04 Apr 2013

Australia’s changing relationship with China is the focus of the upcoming ADC Future Summit, featuring keynote speaker Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

The summit, a partnership between business, government and academia, will be held on 22-23 April in Melbourne.

It will explore bilateral investment opportunities, transforming Australia’s industries, China’s economic outlook and other aspects of the nation’s phenomenal growth.

The 9th annual summit will also cover strategies for repositioning Australia in view of China’s new leadership and the opportunities presented by this critical change.

Others set to speak include Australian Industry Group Chief Executive Innes Willox, Origin Energy Chief Executive Grant King, London School of Economics Visiting Fellow Martin Jacques and KPMG China Practice Head Doug Ferguson.

The ADC Forum, formerly the Australian Davos Connection, was founded in 1996 to promote the World Economic Forum in Australia.
