The 2011-12 grant year application forms are available for download in MS Excel template format (.xlt), and MS Word template format (.dotx). The 2011-12 grant year schedules are available for download in MS Excel template format (.xlt). 

 

If you experience problems printing the application form or schedules, or if you encounter any other problems please read the tips and hints document.

 

Step One

 

Before you fill out the Application Form below, we encourage you to download and read A guide to applying for EMDG, which includes instructions on how to complete the EMDG application form and schedules.

Step Two

Download the EMDG Application Form and relevant Schedules for the expenses you are claiming. Save them to your computer.

Once you have completed them, print them out, sign the application form and then post or hand deliver both the application form and schedules to Austrade, along with any required documentation.

 

Note: Please make sure that your completed application form, along with any relevant schedules and supporting documentation is received by Austrade between 1 July 2012 and close of business on the 30 November 2012.

Refer to the EMDG Publications and Fact Sheets for further information and tips on applying.  If you need some help regarding the new formats for the 2011-12 application form open the tips and hints document.

 

Please Note: The 2011-12 Application form and schedules cannot be electronically lodged. Once you have completed them, print them out, sign the application form and then post or hand deliver both the application form and schedules to Austrade along with any required documentation. Your application must be received by Austrade by the close of business 30 November 2012.

REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS TO THE APPLICATION FORM

These documents must be submitted with your application form:

  • All relevant Schedules

If you are a first time applicant, you must also submit:

  • Your latest Financial Statements (profit and loss statement and balance sheet)
  • Information describing your business and product or service (brochure, company profile etc)

If you are a first time applicant who made a loss in 2011-12, you must also submit:

  • Information on how you intend to fund your export activities going forward

If you are claiming expenses of A$40,000 or more for an overseas representative, you must also submit:

  • Your latest Financial Statements (profit and loss statement and balance sheet)
  • Information describing the nature of activities undertaken by your overseas representative (current appointment letter or agreement, up to five monthly or weekly activity reports or emails confirming the representatives activities)

If you are promoting goods that are not made in Australia, you must also submit:

  • A detailed submission to show that Australia would derive a significant net benefit from the sale of goods outside of Australia. A submission template, along with other information to assist you is available in A guide to applicants seeking to export goods not manufactured in Australia.

If you have already received two or more grants and have selected the Option B Performance Measure, you must also submit:

  • Information and documents (including audited financial documents) to show Austrade that you should continue to receive EMDG support. Further details on these requirements can be found in the EMDG Performance Measure fact sheet.
