About online recruitment
The Austrade Online Recruitment System is a web based recruitment management software package that allows you to lodge your applications online, search for positions and access and read position descriptions. You can start an application and return to it to finish or update before submitting.
The system allows managers to view all submitted applications as they are received, then shortlist and track an applicant's progress through the selection process.
Who has access to it?
Any person can view all available open jobs along with their own incomplete or unsubmitted application.
Who sees my application?
Until the application has been submitted only you can view this information. Once your application has been submitted, the panel members and recruitment unit have access to the application. |

How to use Austrade's Online Recruitment System
If you are registering with the Austrade Online Recruitment System for the first time, you will need to create a personal account which is protected by a username and your chosen password. Remember this information, as you will need it each time you decide to apply for a job or submit/update your profile.
To create a new account you will be required to click on 'Start New Application' and then follow the prompts. You will complete some basic details about yourself and then answer some questions specifically related to the job you are applying for. Each time you apply to a position, the application form will automatically incorporate existing information from your profile. As a returning candidate, you can access your 'account' by clicking on "Access Existing Application" or "Start New Application".
