Procurement Opportunities

The Sochi 2014 Winter Games program is estimated to cost AUD$18.5 billion. The budget includes the cost of all transport upgrades to the region, including the construction of a new terminal at the Sochi International Airport, and a speed rail to connect the airport to ski resorts in the nearby mountains.

The Sochi 2014 Winter Games offers substantial business opportunities for Australian companies. Tender opportunities include construction of sports venues, hotels, spa centres; development and upgrading air, rail and road infrastructure; production and supply of building equipment and materials; supply of sport equipment for the Games venues; hardware, software and integrated solutions, third generation networks development; plus other major projects.

The Sochi 2014 Procurement programme is designed to provide further vital areas of support and services required by the Organising Committee for its operations. At this early stage, much of what is required by the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee relates to the office operations of the organisation, construction activities, and Games-specific expertise for early planning.

If your company is interested in supplying goods or services to the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee, contact Dan Tebbutt (Austrade Moscow) in the first instance and register your details in the Sochi 2014 database of potential suppliers.
