Austrade media statement 23 April 2010 Creative agency M&C Saatchi is the successful tenderer for the Building Brand Australia program, Austrade announced today. Following extensive research in 14 countries around the world including Australia, M&C Saatchi’s concept was recommended to Austrade by the Tender Evaluation Panel. The Building Brand Australia program attracted 60 expressions of interest, from which four agencies were short-listed. Concepts by the short-listed agencies were subject to quantitative and qualitative research and consultation with the Trade Minister and Advisory Board. M&C Saatchi and Austrade today signed a four year contract for the agency to develop and implement an overarching brand for the nation. Building Brand Australia is a $20 million program to better market Australia as a unique, strong, fair and future-focused nation. M&C Saatchi’s winning Brand Australia concept will be unveiled next month.
