Looking for an EMDG consultant to assist you with preparing your application?

The EMDG scheme is designed to make it as easy as possible for businesses to prepare and lodge their EMDG applications themselves. To this end Austrade offers assistance to all potential applicants by providing detailed information on our website, conducting EMDG coaching sessions and through the Austrade Direct hotline on 13 28 78.

However, many applicants choose to use the services of an independent grants consultant to assist them in claims preparation. Austrade therefore works closely with grants consultants in order to ensure that all grants applicants receive the best service possible, irrespective of whether they use a consultant or apply directly.

There are no mandatory qualification or accreditation requirements for individuals wishing to act as grants consultants. However, EMDG consultants have formed an Association called the 'Export Consultants Group' (ECG) within the Australian Institute of Export (AIEX). ECG and Austrade together administer a Code of Practice Administration Committee (COPAC) for EMDG consultants. All COPAC consultants have met core continuing professional development requirements and have access to the latest EMDG guidelines.

See below for a list containing the details of those consultants who have - according to Austrade's records - met specified performance criteria relating to the number of applications lodged, accuracy of applications lodged, appeal rates, and application turnaround times. While Austrade considers that the currently listed consultants have demonstrated high levels of professional practice and client service, Austrade does not recommend individual consultants to applicants, and makes no recommendations regarding any individual consultant's services, fees or charges.
