Peru education market profile
In 2006 Australia and Peru signed an MOU on cooperation in education.
Educational ties are growing. Peru is the fourth-largest source of foreign students from Latin America behind Brazil, Colombia and Chile.
Visits by education institutions have highlighted the opportunity for Australian education services, both for studies in Australia and courses delivered in Peru, as well as research and collaboration between institutions.
