Austrade updates the education framework
11 Dec 2012
Austrade has updated the Framework for International Marketing and Promotion of Australian Education and Training that guides its education work in Australia and around the world. Two changes include a reference to the use of the Future Unlimited education brand and a focus on identifying education and training opportunities in Asia and growth and emerging markets.
Since taking on the role of the international marketing and promotion of Australian education and training on 1 July 2010, Austrade’s work has been guided by this framework. The framework is designed to support three strategic objectives and focuses Austrade’s work around five key priorities. A recent review of the framework suggested it could be enhanced by making amendments to the first two of the five key priorities.
Changes to the framework have been supported by the Australian education sector and endorsed by the Minister for Trade and Competitiveness, the Hon Dr Craig Emerson MP.
