Australian education promoted at UN Global Leadership Academy
20 Jul 2012
Details about Australian culture, education, and trade relations with South Korea were delivered recently to 100 of Korea’s top secondary school students participating in a United Nations Global Leadership Academy for Youth.
The Austrade team took part to raise awareness among Korean students about Australia and Australian education capabilities. The event offered a valuable opportunity to provide a new perspective on Australian education to a high-potential group of Korean students through an innovative channel.
The academy seeks to shape students as future global leaders by offering learning opportunities about other cultures, global issues and international cooperation.
More than 100 of Korea’s top secondary school students attended the presentation, which highlighted key points about Australian culture, education, and trade relations with South Korea. The presentation was also a good opportunity to discuss specific options for Korean students considering Australia as a study destination.
