Directory to assist mining educators extend global reach

Austrade is preparing an Australian Mining Education and Training Capability directory to assist organisations extend their global marketing reach. The directory will be a comprehensive guide to Australian education and training courses for the mining and resources sector and will profile higher education and VET providers. Funded by Austrade, the directory will be distributed internationally and promoted widely at international trade events. Listing in the directory is free.
The directory will profile higher education and VET providers who have international experience and/or plans and wish to work with Austrade to promote their specialised education and training services to overseas customers. The directory will list information on Australian higher education and VET establishments highlighting their range of relevant courses, capability and showcasing them as an ideal place and environment for international students to study.
Information in the directory will be divided into five main sections:
- vocational education and training
- undergraduate study
- postgraduate study
- training consulting and advisory services
- short courses and executive education.
In addition, the directory will feature a user-friendly services index, comprehensive
A–Z listing of all education and training establishments (including logo, contact details, a list of relevant courses) and a 100-word capability statement.
Funded by Austrade, the directory will be distributed internationally and promoted widely at international trade events, enabling listed organisations to take advantage of Austrade's extensive global network.
Register your interest in listing in the directory by Thursday 31 May 2012.
Those registering interest will be contacted by the Starkey Smith Media Group, which is working with Austrade to compile and publish the directory.
