Special India edition of Australia Unlimited launched
12 Feb 2013
A special India edition of the Australia Unlimited app-based magazine has been released to celebrate the people at the centre of Australia’s rich relationship with India. Stories cover education, arts and culture, business and investment, science and technology, and humanitarian work. It is the first time the magazine has focused on one country.
The new app was launched by Minister of Trade and Competitiveness, Dr Craig Emerson, together with cricketing legend Adam Gilchrist at the Australian High Commission in New Delhi on 28 January. The launch was attended by an influential Indian and Australian audience, with about 30 Indian media outlets present.
The Australia Unlimited website and magazine-style apps showcase the ideas and achievements of our world-class scientists, exporters, designers, educators and entrepreneurs at home and around the world. It is all about Australia’s greatest asset – not our beaches or our mines, but our people.
Education-related stories include Australian-Indian scientific research partnerships, university collaboration and the Ozfest showcase of Australian culture.
Australia Unlimited India edition for iPad and iPhones is available for free from the App Store. Visit the Australia Unlimited website to read good news stories about Australia and India.
