'Win your Future Unlimited' digital campaign holding page now live
17 Sep 2013
In a global 'Win your Future Unlimited' competition running from 1 October to 18 November, entrants have the chance to win a year of study in Australia. The competition holding page is now live, giving potential international students the chance to pre-register their details and be kept up-to-date about the competition.
In June 2011 the Australian Government announced a new brand for the promotion of Australian education internationally – Future Unlimited. Future Unlimited repositions Australian education beyond just lifestyle and affordability, to focus on the outcomes an Australian education delivers.
The Future Unlimited digital campaign seeks to build brand awareness of Australian education and to engage prospective international students in the brand. The campaign has been structured as an online competition called ‘Win your Future Unlimited’. The objectives of the campaign are to increase awareness of Australia as a high quality education destination that delivers real outcomes for students, as well as driving traffic to www.studyinaustralia.gov.au.
To enter, from 1 October, candidates visit the competition website and take four steps to create a digital postcard:
- upload a photo
- add illustrations
- describe, in 50 words or less, their future aspirations and how an Australian education would help realise them
- answer some basic questions, and submit the postcard.
The major prize includes flights, tuition, accommodation, a stipend and more. The major prize winner will be announced on 17 December 2013 and will take up their prize in 2014.
Seven finalists will also be flown to Australia for a two-week study tour in December 2013 to meet with tertiary institutions from coast to coast.
