About event :

This mission will be supported by the Australian Department of Industry. Australia’s Water Supply Advocate, Bob Herbert, AM, is planning to lead the mission.

The mission will visit Beijing, Nanjing and Guangzhou where Austrade will arrange business matching meetings and site visits for delegates to meet with Chinese project owners, government and industry decision makers. Delegates will be able to exhibit as part of the Australian Pavilion at Water Expo China + Water Membrane China 2013 (WEC 2013), held in Beijing from 2-4 December 2013. This expo is one of China’s largest water expos and is sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Water Resources. Last year’s event attracted 398 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions and 23,816 visitors from 36 countries and regions.

Austrade will arrange an Australian water solutions seminar during the conference to promote Australian capabilities in water, including the specific products and services of each respective delegate. At this event, companies will be able to network with appropriate government officials and businesses, with support from the Australian Government.
