90-day visas can be obtained if you have been invited or sponsored by a Mongolian national, Mongolian company, expat company, or are part of an organised tour. Information on visas should be checked directly with a Mongolian Embassy.

There are three main points of entry into Mongolia for international travellers. These are Chinggis Khan airport in Ulaanbaatar, Ereen and Zamyn-Uud on the Chinese border, and Nasushki and Sukhbaatar on the northern Russian border.

Tourist visas can be obtained at these points, but it is better to have a valid Mongolian visa before entering the country to avoid potential complications and delays.

For further information please contact your nearest Mongolian Embassy or Consulate prior to arrival.
