Corporate hospitality program
The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will officially open on Friday 8 August this year and will provide a unique opportunity for Australian companies to build international business connections in the all-important China market, while delivering the sporting experience of a lifetime.
Australian companies who will be represented (at executive level) in China during August 2008 are invited to participate in a range of networking activities that will take place throughout the Olympic Games period from Business Club Australia’s base at the Hilton Hotel.
As part of this business matching program, Australian exporting organisations can apply for hospitality packages to Olympic sporting events to be used to host existing or prospective international customers. The nominated international customer must have an interest in acquiring goods or services from Australia, or be an existing importer of Australian goods or services.
Tickets are available to 52 Olympic sessions from the following (15) sporting disciplines: Judo, Swimming, Equestrian, Athletics, Cycling, Badminton, Table Tennis, Gymnastics, Weightlifting, Football, Diving, Taekwondo, Water Polo, Hockey and Basketball.
Two (2) tickets will be allocated to each successful applicant, to be utilised by a representative of the Australian exporting organisation and by their international guest.
Australian companies (must have ABN) can obtain further information or an application form by contacting Hayley Wheatley at hayley.wheatley@austrade.gov.au.
Applicants must clearly demonstrate why the Australian business and their customer should be hosted by BCA. Nomination forms will be assessed by the ticket allocation committee, with tickets be awarded to customers with the strongest international business case. Applications will be accepted until our ticket allocation has been exhausted.
