North America remains the biggest market for web-based learning, but with a compound annual growth rate of 33 per cent, the Asia Pacific is the fastest growing. It is expected to overtake Europe by 2014.

This is one of the reasons why German learning software company, IMC AG wanted to establish a regional headquarters in the Asia Pacific.  IMC AG chose Australia for as its Asia Pacific base.

IMC is recognised as a world leader in technology-based learning products and services. This includes learning management systems, authoring tools, customised content development, and standard courses.

The company has about 160 employees – software engineers, consultants, sales representatives, and content designers. It provides its e-learning products and services to small and large companies, the public sector, universities and schools. IMC counts Allianz, BMW, Lufthansa, Mazda, Roche, Siemens, Volkswagen, and UBS among more than 500 clients in 25 countries.
