Henry Wang is Austrade's Senior Investment Commissioner for Greater China, based in Shanghai. He has also been based in Singapore, Taipei and Melbourne.

Previously, Henry worked in the private sector with INSTATE Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based international strategic consulting firm specialising in public policies and market development strategies with focus on China, Taiwan and Japan, and with Stephen FitzGerald & Co, in Beijing and Sydney, working on bilateral trade and investment.

Fluent in Mandarin, Japanese and English, Henry was awarded the Australia Day Achievement Medallion in January 2007 as recognition of his contribution to the country.

Jay Ning

Jay Ning currently holds the position of Senior Investment Manager at Austrade Shanghai and assists inward investments from the East China region. He is experienced particularly in resources, clean energy, agribusiness and infrastructure sector.

Prior to this position, Jay worked as a Business Development Manager at Austrade Shanghai with a focus on clean energy and environment industry. He took a similar role in German Industry and Commerce to deliver services and German/EU government projects in China before joining Austrade in 2009.

Jay holds an MSc Process Technology and Business Management from the University of Warwick, UK and a BA Hon. in Business Management.

Jill Ren

Jill Ren is the Senior Investment Manager, Austrade Guangzhou. Prior to this position, Ms Ren was working in Austrade as the Business Development Manager, with focus on advanced manufacturing and automotive industry.

Ms Ren has over 10 years working experience in trade and investment promotion field. She worked in Hong Kong Trade Development Council during 1999 – 2003, and then was the Chief Representative of Messe Düsseldorf in South China before joining Austrade in 2009.

Ms Ren has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Zhongshan University and a Master of Marketing Management from Aston University (Birmingham, UK).

Jerry Wei
Senior Investment Manager, Beijing

Jerry Wei manages the investment activities across the network of Austrade offices in China, advising large enterprises in China on foreign investment strategies.

Prior to joining Austrade, Jerry worked for 10 years in the financial industry. He worked for AMP Capital Investors in Sydney in the role of International Business Development Manager, where he was responsible for managing relationships with international strategic partners and clients, developing business initiatives in Asia with particular focus on China.

Jerry also worked for Macquarie Bank in Sydney, HSBC, and Standard Chartered Bank in Beijing where he primarily managed the relationships with foreign institution investors and Chinese regulators.

Jerry holds a Master degree of Commerce, majoring in Advanced Business Information System and Management from the University of New South Wales Australia and a Bachelor degree in International Trade.

William Lin

William Lin is a Senior Investment Manager within the Austrade Greater China Investment team.

William Lin joined Austrade in 1996 and has been fully engaged in Australian food export trade promotion and has undertaken various Austrade regional industry team leaderships since. In 2009, William took up a role in Invest Australia to promote and attract productive Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) from Hong Kong and Macau to Australia.

William has a degree in Architectural Engineering from the Institute of Technology in South China. He has also completed a Bachelor Degree of Business at Monash University in Melbourne. Since 1994, Mr Lin has worked as a consultant for international investment and trade projects in both mainland China and Hong Kong.
