Frank Belitz joined Austrade in 2013 and is Senior Investment Commissioner in Singapore.

Frank was raised in Australia followed by University education in the UK, his early career was spent working in the reforming economies of central and eastern Europe. Focus was mainly on investment and business analysis for infrastructure, environmental and industrial projects but was also involved in socio-environmental impact assessments, development of environmental investment funds and lastly managing a public-private partnership (PPP) fund on behalf of the European Commission which aimed to identify and promote PPPs in the region and train local public sector staff to work with the private sector.

Frank then moved to China where he was involved in structuring some of the PPP projects for the Beijing Olympics but also in developing national solid waste and waste water management plans for the State Council, among other investment analysis assignments. Frank later joined Macquarie Bank to help them develop their Asian infrastructure investment funds followed by a stint at Deutsche Bank to run the infrastructure and industrial coverage team for China and Asia. Moving to Singapore in 2009, his last role before joining Austrade, was as the co-head of Standard Chartered’s Renewable Energy and Environmental Finance team, a new initiative which aimed to help finance the growth of the sectors particularly in the Asian region.

Chin Ee is an Investment Manager in Singapore. Chin Ee joined Austrade in 2005 as a Business Development Manager, with a focus on the health and medical sector and latterly added Consumer (non-food) to her portfolio. She has project managed Austrade’s involvement in key regional medical and dental exhibitions as well as leading Singapore-buyer missions to meet with Australian businesses participating in key shows in Asia.

Prior to joining Austrade, Chin Ee worked in the private sector in various industries ranging from engineering to specialty chemicals. Her experience includes sales, marketing and product management. Chin Ee earned her Masters of Communication from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
