Steve Chiu has been with Austrade Taipei since 2002. As the Team Leader for the services industry in Taipei, his portfolio includes sectors ranging from: Environmental Protection, Infrastructure, Financial and Cultural Services, Publishing, Marine and Aviation. He has extensive experience in strategy development of new sectors with leadership experience on a regional level for the marine industry.

Over the last few years, he has focused on the investment of Taiwan Banks to Australia which is of growing demand to internationalise the Taiwanese financial services industry. More recently, his focus areas have shifted to Tourism Infrastructure and Innovation.

Steve has a Bachelor of Information Systems from Monash University and an MBA from National Chengchi University, Taiwan.
