Australian cities in Top Ten for business travel
8 July 2009
Australian cities, Adelaide and Perth, have been rated in the Top Ten in the world for business travel, the Economist Intelligence Unit has reported.
Three other Australian cities – Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne – have been ranked in the Top Twenty.
The Economist’s Business Travel Index was assessed by comparing 140 cities around the world as potential destinations for business trips, conferences and training locations. Considerations included per diem costs such as accommodation, meals, and taxis, and destination environmental factors such as stability, infrastructure and health care. |
