US financial services provider opens in Australia

The New York-based financial services provider, Moelis & Company, is opening an office in Sydney.

A global investment bank, Moelis provides a broad range of advisory services to clients in mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and corporate finance, and manages investment funds that integrate capital with its advisory expertise.

The Sydney office will be Moelis & Company’s sixth office globally and follows the establishment of a London office in 2008.

“The launch of our Australian office is an important first step towards growing our coverage of the key Asia-Pacific region,” said CEO Ken Moelis.

Mr Moelis said that the addition of the Sydney office and team underscores the company’s continued commitment to services clients globally and to have a presence in the markets in which they operate.
