Massachusetts-based W R Grace, a supplier of catalysts, silica products and speciality construction materials and systems, has announced the opening of a new facility in Australia.
Located a Rowville in the south east of Melbourne, the facility will bring together customer service and warehousing functions, as well as instrument training and service laboratories.
The site will also operate as part of Grace Davison Discovery Sciences, a leader in silica media and light scattering technologies, and marketer of an array of products for the life science, pharmaceutical, anaesthesiology, forensic, and biotechnology industries.
The new facility will supply customers in Australia, New Zealand and the surrounding Pacific Islands with chromatography products manufactured in Australia, Germany and the United States.

Grace manufactures and markets chromatography columns and instrumentation, as well as silica gel, a material used in many chromatographic processes. |
