Japanese manufacturer opens Townsville office9 October 2009Yokogawa Electric Corporation, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of instrumentation and process control, has opened an office in Townsville, Queensland. Yokogawa produces measured instruments and industrial automation and control systems include components and software for testing, analysis, monitoring and recording. Headquartered in Tokyo, the conglomerate was established in 1915, runs 84 companies, and operates in 33 countries. Russell Palmer, Australian Director of Sales and Marketing, said that the new Townsville office will help provide support for Yokogawa’s customers across the state of Queensland. Customers include power plants, oil refineries, chemical plants, pulp and paper mills, iron and steel manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. More information |
