Eight Australian universities ranked in Global Top 10019 October 2009Australia has eight universities in the top hundred in the world, the just released 2009 Times Higher Education - QS World University Rankings has reported. The Australian National University in Canberra, at 17th, is the highest ranked institution outside of the United States and the United Kingdom. The other top ranked Australian universities are: Melbourne University, Monash University, Sydney University, the University of Adelaide, the University of NSW, the University of Queensland and the University of Western Australia. The Times Higher Education rankings are much anticipated each year, with universities ranked by six categories, including peer review. More information |
