US speciality software company opens regional presence in Australia 12 November 2009 WideOrbit, the California-based provider of business management software for media companies, has expanded operations into the Asia Pacific region with the opening of a new office in Melbourne. The company’s CEO, Eric Mathewson, said that there has been a significant demand for sales, traffic and automation solutions from broadcasters in the Asia Pacific region. "Our new office in Melbourne and presence in the region will help us better serve the market,” he said. WideOrbit was established in 1999.
