US virtualisation software provider invests in Australian office 13 September 2010 Leading US virtualisation software company, Parallels, has invested in an office in Sydney to cover the Australia and New Zealand markets. The Seattle-headquartered Parallels was established in 1999 and currently serves 10 million customer end users in 125 countries around the world. Parallels is a world leader in Desktop Virtualisation (paralleling Desktop for Mac), OS-level Virtualisation, and Server Control Panels. The company has over 55 patents either issued or pending, and has forged more than 500 partnerships, including with Microsoft, Apple, Intel, Dell, HP and IBM.
