US data centre provider establishes regional subsidiary in Australia 1 December 2010 The US data centre consulting and managed services provider GlassHouse Technologies has established a regional subsidiary in Sydney. The new office – GlassHouse Technologies Pty Ltd – will support the Massachusetts-based company’s expansion into the Asia-Pacific market. Established almost a decade ago by a group of IT experts, GlassHouse provides services which include assessment, design, implementation, solution maintenance and storage strategy, as well as data centre migration and consolidation. CEO Mark Shirman said that the Sydney office will allow GlassHouse to foster closer relationships with customers and partners in the Asia-Pacific region and offer greater access to the services needed to drive necessary infrastructure transformations. He said that the company had expanded significantly in the past two years, “both in terms of the services we provide and the regions we serve.” GlassHouse Technologies has a number of offices across the United States and a presence internationally in Germany, Israel, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK.
