New York-based Primary Insight launches global research centre in Australia

New York-based Primary Insight (PI), a global provider of primary source research services to institutional investors, has recently launched an office in Sydney.
The new office is part of the organisation’s expansion into the Asia-Pacific region, and it now has offices, or “global research centres”, in New York, London, Shanghai and Sydney.
Spending a year devising its go-to market strategy for Australia, the Sydney operation will focus on growing the company’s research, sales and marketing.
Founded in 2005, Primary Insight’s business involves matching industry experts – whether they be business executives, researchers or other stakeholders – to institutional investors and financial services organisations. Primary Insight enacts a strict vetting system, matching the expert who then acts as a consultant to that organisation, providing research and advice that assists in the investment decision-making process.
Primary Insight also develops compliance technology, used primarily by legal and compliance departments in organisations to oversee their company’s interactions with experts.
