Halogen Software opens first Australian office

23 March 2012

Canada’s Halogen Software has chosen Australia to host its presence in the Asia Pacific region with a new office opened in Sydney last week.

The human resources and talent management software developer is responding to increased demand in Asian Pacific markets and an 86 per cent growth in Australian-based customers in 2011.

With a new office in Sydney, the company hopes to expand its service offering in Australia and extend its reach throughout the growth region.

President and CEO of Halogen Software, Paul Loucks, says that strong global demand for talent attraction, development and retention management systems are driving the company’s expansion to Australia.

“Opening an office in the Asia Pacific market fits our business model as it emphasises a local presence backed by a powerful global network of offices, support professionals and capabilities,” Mr Loucks said.

“Operating locally in the markets we serve enables us to gain an intimate understanding of the challenges of the area and best work with our customers to help them leverage their talent management investment to its full potential.”
