Leading UK investment house enters Australian market24 May 2012London-based investment management company, Advance Emerging Capital, has entered the Australian market by partnering with the Melbourne-based independent financial services firm, AFM Investment Partners (AFM). Advance Emerging Capital, which specialises in investment in emerging and frontier markets around the world, has a predominately US and UK institutional client base. John Donovan, the Managing Director of AFM, said that the partnership with Advanced Emerging Capital will bring direct equities and fund of fund opportunities to the local market. “Advance Emerging Capital believes that emerging and frontier growth markets offer investors superior performance in the long term,” Mr Donovan said. He added that Australian investors are increasingly interested in investing in these markets.
