Software provider Quintiq expands into Sydney
7 May 2013
Global supply-chain software company Quintiq has expanded in Australia, opening an office in Sydney to meet growing demand on the nation’s East Coast.
Quintiq, in more than 500 locations worldwide, opened its first office in Australia in Melbourne in 2008. It later set up operations on the West Coast.
“Adding our Perth office last year and now the Sydney office to our national footprint is reflective of our successful growth strategy,” Australia and New Zealand Director Paul Shepherd said.
“Having a dedicated Sydney-based team will support our existing customers as well as allow us to capitalise on many exciting business opportunities on offer,” he said.
Quintiq’s clients in Australia include the Royal Flying Doctors Service, NBN Co, RailCorp and Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal.
Quintiq creates software and other solutions that help companies manage supply chains, improve planning processes and use resources more efficiently. Founded 15 years ago, it has dual headquarters in the Netherlands and the United States. It has a global development centre in Malaysia and offices in North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific.
