Australia’s efficient regulatory environment and business-friendly economy have scored high marks on two key global competitiveness reports.

The Swiss-based Institute for Management Development (IMD) World Competitiveness Yearbook 2013 and the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report 2012-13 are both highly regarded as objective benchmarking and trends resources, based on statistics and survey data that highlight the business efficiency and overall competitiveness of the world’s major economies.

Australia has the lowest financial risk among the world’s developed economies, yet is one of the easiest, most efficient places to do business.
