Asian Seafood Exposition 2011 unveils sumptuous seafood from Australia

Australia’s high food safety and quality standards, clean and green fisheries and aquaculture environment, and sustainability were showcased at the Asian Seafood Exposition, Asia’s only specialised seafood trade exhibition held in Hong Kong from 6 to 8 September 2011.
14 Australian exhibitors were represented in the Australian Pavilion, organised by the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council with the support of Australian Trade Commission. The commercial fishing industry is among the top five most valuable primary industries in Australia, after beef, wool, wheat and dairy. Australia is one of the largest producers of abalone and rock lobsters.
Local and international buyers had opportunities to taste the wonderful flavours of Australian seafood and met the producers and exporters of a wide range of safe, innovative and tasty seafood products, which are produced in a pristine environment under the strictest of food safety regimes and standards regulated and enforced along the entire supply chain.
The Australia Seafood Pavilion attracted many local and international buyers and you can see why by viewing the company profiles of the 14 Australian exhibitors (PDF, 3.40MB). Please contact us if you are seeking introductions to suppliers of Australian seafood.
