New report on US Cleantech investment trends now available

03 Nov 2010

US Cleantech Investment Trends, a comprehensive report on investment trends in the United States Cleantech industry, has just been published by the Australian Trade Commission - Austrade.

The report contains valuable information for Australian Cleantech companies looking to export their goods and services to the United States.

The US Cleantech market is massive – and growing. In the second quarter of this year alone, US$1.88 billion was invested in this industry in the United States, an increase of 22 per cent over the previous quarter.

Austrade’s US Cleantech Investment Trends report serves not only as an investment summary and thorough background briefing, it also documents the levels of investment sector by sector within the industry in the United States; includes information about the placement of private equity and venture capital funds; lists top investors; and explores the outcomes of the increasing globalisation of the venture capital industry.

“This quarterly report is a great way for Australian Cleantech companies to keep their finger on the pulse of the biggest Cleantech investment market in the world, the US,” says Nigel Warren, Senior Trade Commissioner and Clean Energy Leader for Austrade San Francisco.
