BCA Vancouver 2010 - Overview

BCA Vancouver 2010 has held its keynote event with special guest David Atkins, producer of the opening and closing ceremonies, sharing insights about bidding for Olympic projects. The networking event brought together more than 130 business people from around the world.

Other high profile speakers included Australian High Commissioner to Canada, Justin Brown and British Columbia Minister for Economic Development, Iain Black. Mr Black paid tribute to the BCA program noting that it ‘set the model for how Olympic host cities can implement business programs to benefit the host community’.  Delegations from the Olympic organising committees of Sochi, Rio and London attended the networking events.
