Denise is Trade and Investment Commissioner for Austrade in South Asia. She leads Austrade’s Resources and Energy teams across the dynamic and fast growing South Asia Region.  Denise also manages 5 of Austrade’s offices in South Asia, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad  and Kolkata in India, Dhaka in Bangladesh and Colombo in Sri Lanka.

Denise was appointed to India in 2022 and has held a number of previous roles within Austrade both in Australia and overseas, including assignments in Taiwan and India.  Prior to her current role, Denise led Austrade’s  Health Team in Australia for 15 years.

Denise brings 35 years of business experience working in both the private and public sectors.  She has a detailed and practical understanding of global trade and investment to deliver advice, commercial opportunities and market information and insight.  She has worked across the globe in various private sector roles in the US, UK, Germany, and France.
