Jennifer commenced her posting as the Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner for Paris in July 2015. Jennifer manages the Paris and Madrid Posts and is responsible for promoting Australia’s investment and education priorities in France and in Spain.
Before joining the Australia Trade Commission, Jennifer worked as a lawyer for international law firm Clifford Chance in Paris for over 10 years. She specialised in complex cross border Mergers & Acquisitions for multinationals and Private Equity and advised both international and French clients. She was the head of the firm's client development, marketing and communications in France for five years before joining Austrade.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney, was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of NSW in 1994 and admitted as an 'avocat' to the Paris bar in 2003. She is bilingual in French and English, speaks fluent Italian and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
