Brendan Coyne is the Trade Commissioner for West Africa, based in Accra.
Prior to taking on this role, Brendan served as the Australian Consul-General and Trade Commissioner in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Brendan has also worked for Austrade in Perth, Hong Kong, Nairobi, Jakarta and Townsville predominantly assisting Australian organisations in the resource sector, enter and expand in overseas markets.
Before joining Austrade in 2009, Brendan worked in the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Canberra within the International Legal Division, and before that in Brisbane as a trade consultant for an international logistics company helping clients with marketing and legal issues concerning international trade.
Brendan has a law degree and economics degree (Hons).
