Zagreb International Airport (also known as Pleso Airport) is located 17km out of town. Its small size makes the airport easy to get around; both domestic and international arrival and departure areas are located on the ground floor.
Pleso prijevoz runs a bus service from Pleso International to the Zagreb Bus Station (autobusni kolodvor), which leaves according to flight schedules from outside the international arrivals and costs 30kn per person. There are taxis available in front of the international arrivals, rates from the airport can differ significantly, so it is recommended to pre-book online prior to your arrival. The roads in Zagreb are fairly well maintained and traffic generally moves with order and efficiency. The speed of travel is capped at 50km/h in town, 80km/h on secondary roads and 130km/h on highways.
