Market Profile

The United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain and Northern Ireland comprises England, Scotland and Wales (Great Britain) and Northern Ireland.

Currently, the UK is a member of the European Union (EU) and is subject to EU trade regulatory requirements. However, on the 23 June 2016, the UK held a referendum to answer the question: "should the UK remain a member of the EU, or leave the EU?".

By a margin of 51.9 per cent to 48.1 per cent, the UK voted to leave the EU (commonly referred to as 'Brexit').
