Tourism Ministers' meetings

Australian and state and territory government Tourism Ministers hold informal meetings to discuss the implementation of the National Long-Term Tourism Strategy and tourism policy matters of mutual interest to the Australian Government, State, Territory and New Zealand Governments. Tourism Ministers’ Meetings provide an important opportunity to monitor the progress of the implementation of the strategy and provide strategic direction for the tourism industry.

The Tourism Ministers are supported by the Australian Standing Committee on Tourism (ASCOT).

Australia's Tourism Ministers meet as required to advance the National Long-Term Tourism Strategy and the update to the strategy, Tourism 2020.
