Austrade invites Australian businesses to join a targeted rail industry program in India from 21-25 October 2019.

India is investing significantly to expand, upgrade and modernise one of the world’s largest railway networks. Indian Railways’ 2019-20 budget allocation is its highest ever at AUD 32 Billion – 20 per cent higher than the previous year.

India’s ongoing and planned investments in its railways offer a range of opportunities for Australia in rail technology and services for heavy haul and metro, including condition monitoring, training, analytics and optimisation.
