Australian Aged Care Education and Training Capability Roadshow

About event:

Australia is increasingly recognised in China as a provider of high quality aged care education and training services.

Austrade, together with our partners in Australia’s aged care sector, has supported opportunities for Australian providers in the China market through a series of strategic initiatives, including:

  • the Australian Aged Care Training Capability Masterclass Roadshow in April 2017
  • the Australian Aged Care Training and Workforce Development Forum in Guangzhou in November 2016
  • the Australia-China International Aged Care Summit in Beijing in November 2015
  • a VET Forum on Health and Aged Care in Chengdu in April 2015.

This mission is designed to reinforce and build upon Australia’s growing international reputation in aged care education and training. Delegates joining this mission will engage key local government agencies and potential partners to showcase Australian capability and share best practice in education and training program development and delivery. The program will enable delegates to build networks in and pathways to the China market.

Who should participate:
  • Australian aged care education and training service providers (universities, vocational colleges and RTOs)
  • Businesses interested in understanding the aged care education and training market in China.
