Turkey Mining Opportunities

About event:

The Austrade mining mission is designed to identify and target opportunities for Australian exploration and METS companies in Turkey. It aims to provide high-level access to key decision-makers in the major mining companies as well as contact with distributors and agents.

Turkey has a highly prospective but young mining sector and is rapidly expanding its mining production to secure its energy future. Modernisation imperatives are driving investment in technologies to boost production, increase efficiency, improve safety and reduce environmental impact.

As the world’s leading coal and mineral exporter, Australia is seen as a natural source of innovative technology, equipment, services, investment and R&D to support the industry’s development and enhance regional energy security. Austrade’s previous mining missions to Turkey have helped participants identify new business partners and establish contact with major customers.

Who should participate:

  • exploration and drilling services

  • mine safety services and equipment
  • IT and tools to enhance productivity, quality and safety and reduce environmental impact
