Mining Indaba 2020 - Australia Lounge

About the event:

Participation in Mining Indaba is important for Australian METS looking to enter or expand into the African continent.

Africa holds approximately 30 per cent of the world’s known minerals, and has the largest amount of platinum, cobalt, uranium and diamond reserves globally. Africa also has other significant commodities, for example South Africa and Ghana are among the top gold producing countries in the world.

Mining is growing in countries outside of the traditional mining nations, and becoming more advanced and technical as operators look to extend the mine life, control costs, and overcome lower grades.

Participating at the Australia Lounge during Mining Indaba will provide you opportunities to promote your products and services; connect with targeted customers; access sessions such as Meet the Buyer, Investment Battlefield, Junior Mining Showcase, Women in Mining; and receive tailored support from Austrade to help maximise your participation at the event.

Additionally, a number of networking receptions will be organised in the lounge. Space will also be available to host private meetings, and access other branding opportunities.

Who should participate:
  • mining exploration and operation
  • consulting, engineering
  • equipment and technology consulting
  • education and training
