About the event:

Austrade and the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) are partnering to lead a delegation of 20 Australian companies to Hannover Messe 2020 (#20for2020).

Hannover Messe  is the world’s leading industrial technology show. With over 200,000 visitors from 100 countries and more than 30 different industries, Hannover Messe is the preeminent yearly event for industrial pioneers.

Running five days from 20-24 April 2020, the leading theme for #HM20 is #IndustrialTransformation. The global industrial sector is in a period of major change, driven by the megatrends of digitisation, IoT, individualisation and climate protection. Hannover Messe will focus on the opportunities arising from these trends and provide companies with excellent opportunities to connect with important global industrial players.

Hannover Messe is an amazing opportunity for Australian companies in the Advanced Manufacturing sector looking to grow. Companies will have the chance to promote their capabilities, learn about international markets, seek commercial relationships on a global scale, and discover new technological advances and business models, all in one place.

The official partner country for #HM20 is Indonesia. As a large, resource rich economy, Indonesia is currently looking to revitalise its manufacturing industry and become a competitive player in the new global context with their ‘Making Indonesia 4.0’ roadmap.

The focus areas at Hannover Messe 2020 are:

  • Industry 4.0 (including IoT and 5G)
  • Industrial Security
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Lightweight Construction
  • Platform Economics
  • Logistics 4.0
  • Carbon-free Production.

Austrade and the AMGC are seeking market suitable companies that have a genuine world-leading solution, product or service related to the focus areas listed above.
