Exploring the significant “Five Waters” Program in China

About event :

A major water program, with an investment by the Chinese Government of more than A$75 billion over three years and over 125 projects valued at A$10 billion in 2014, has been announced in Zhejiang Province.
Austrade, together with the Chinese Government, invites you to be part of the first Australian water mission to explore these opportunities.

Austrade will arrange Australian Water Solutions seminars and networking dinners in two cities in Zhejiang Province: Hangzhou and Jiaxing, to explore these opportunities. These seminars are a platform to promote Australian capabilities in water, including the specific products and services of each respective delegate.  At these events, companies will be able to network with appropriate government officials and businesses, with support from the Australian Government.  The group may also participate in an optional trip to Shanghai for a water site visit and networking dinner with key water stakeholders.

Who should participate : Australian businesses with strategic interests and export capabilities in China, including but not limited to the following sectors:
  • Water rights trading
  • Rainwater collection and reuse systems
  • Wastewater treatment technology
  • Flood forecasting, water quality monitoring
  • Water remediation
