Australian agtech ready to take the stage at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit
15 Mar 2019
Austrade is taking its second delegation of agtech startups, companies, accelerators, universities and research organisations to this year’s World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in San Francisco. In addition to attending the summit and showcasing Australian capability at an invite-only networking breakfast, the group will embark on a two-week journey across California and the Midwest, visiting five cities in four states.
The World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit is held annually in San Francisco and is the key international gathering of agribusiness leaders, investors and agtech innovators. The summit brings together over 500 international agribusiness leaders (including Bayer, Corteva, BASF, John Deere and CNH) to meet and network with potential partners. The summit, combined with Austrade’s extended program, offers Australian participants the opportunity to network with global leaders in agtech, showcase their unique offerings and gain in-depth understanding of the US market through a series of meetings and site visits.
