Registrations open for the 2023 China International Education Exhibition Tour

The China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), hosted by the Chinese Government’s Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), is scheduled to take place in April 2023. The China Study Abroad Forum will also be convened in Beijing on 7 April.

About this event

CIEET is one of the largest education promotion roadshows in China. The event is supported by China’s Ministry of Education. It provides a platform to showcase the diversity and reputation of the education offering from participating countries and institutions.

This year’s CIEET will be predominantly in-person although an online component will be available. At CIEET 2019, pre-pandemic, more than 200 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions participated.

The Beijing event attracted over 30,000 visitors. Attendees are mainly students and their families considering study abroad, as well as many other education sector stakeholders. The Beijing event also attracts interest from national media outlets.

Schedule

The schedule for the 2023 CIEET is:

  • Beijing: 8 April 2023 (Sat)
  • Chongqing: 11 April 2023 (Tue)
  • Guangzhou: 15 April 2023 (Sat)
  • Shanghai: 16 April 2023 (Sun).

How to apply

We encourage Australian education providers, states and territories to consider participating in this event. You can register here.

You can select the locations to participate in-person. Australian participants will be co-located in an Australian section. Austrade will organise a Study Australia booth in Beijing and Shanghai, and possibly Chongqing (TBC). In Beijing, the Australian Department of Education will also deliver a seminar highlighting the strengths of Australian universities in research and innovation.
