Export opportunities have moved
16 Aug 2022
In April 2022, Austrade changed the process to access education export opportunities published through the Market Information Package (MIP).
We changed the name from 'Opportunities' to 'Find Export Leads' and moved to a new digital platform, MyAustrade. We have also joined the Australian Government Digital Identity System to verify users.
The new export leads service will allow verified users to see export leads as soon as they’re published, submit online expressions of interest, track the progress of their submissions and view previously submitted expressions of interest, all in one place.
Export leads will still be published in the MIP Weekly newsletter, with a link provided to access further information. To view the full details or to respond to an export lead, users will need to login using their secure Digital Identity, myGovID. Users will be able to use their myGovID when using other online government services as well.
There is a two-step registration process that will set up your myGovID and link it to your organisation in the Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) system. This only needs to be completed once. If your organisation is already linked in RAM, have your RAM authority add you to your organisation in RAM.
Detailed instructions can be found at our updated link “How to setup myGovID and RAM”
Please note the following:
- You will need at least two Australian identity documents to achieve a standard identity strength, so it is a good idea to have them ready. These people can be added as standard users or administrators for your organisation. Administrators will be able to manage who should be linked to your organisation.
- International staff who don’t have at least two Australian identity documents will now be able to register for a basic identity strength with a valid email address. Please note they can only be added as a basic user in RAM.
- Your internal Legal, Finance or HR teams should be able to help you identify your organisation’s Principal Authority, which may be required information for you to complete Step 2 of the registration process.
If you any questions about RAM, please visit the RAM website here for more details.
